    Description

    An original and very rare general's cap in excellent collectible condition.
    The crown of the cap is sewn from a half-woolen diagonal of a protective color, the band is black velvet, which indicates that the cap belongs to the general of the tank forces.
    Black fiber visor, lacquered, rounded.
    Above the visor, a braided gilded filigree cord is fastened to gilded buttons.
    Along the edge of the bottom and the top of the band of the cap, the edges are red.
    In the middle of the band, above the cord, there is a cockade - an enamel star with a sickle and a hammer on two gilded bands.

    Introduced by order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 212 dated July 13, 1940.
    Confirmed by order of the USSR People's Commissar for Defense No. 25 dated January 15, 1943.
    Designed to be worn with a casual overcoat and uniform.
